Abstract

Gun violence, involving acts of violence with firearms, is a complex issue affecting public health and societal concerns over gun control laws. It has sparked intense debates about gun control, individual rights, mental health, and the impact of firearms on society. Evidence shows that firearm ownership and access increase suicide, homicide, and injuries, but preventable through evidence-based solutions. I surveyed the audience of Terminal Exhale before and after the show to collect data on gun violence, providing a representative view of a population and reliable generalizations. The survey was anonymous, and stored on my Google account, and informed consent was obtained. Data quality was ensured through clear questions, quality checks, and data validation techniques.
