Abstract

Our team, comprised of five Carthage Finance students, conducted an analysis of the company: Artisan Partners Asset Management.  This was the company that the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute assigned us.  We competed against three other schools in the south-eastern Wisconsin area and were judged by the CFA Institute of Milwaukee based on a presentation and written report.  In both the presentation and report, we recommended a "sell rating."  This was based off of our evaluation of the company's financials, future projections, industry competition, investment risks, and operational management.
