Abstract

I have researched the impact that millennials have made on the wedding industry through their changing preferences in areas such as ideal marriage age and spending choices. The wedding industry brings in over $54 billion annually to the US alone, making it an industry that heavily impacts our economy. The relationship between millennial spending and strategies for persuading this group to spend more money in this industry is something that hasn’t been looked into heavily. Some research methods I am using include looking at different trends throughout the years, examining various related databases, and considering predictions for the future.
