Abstract

This research was crafted under the central idea of how teaching has changed and adapted during the current unprecedented times that have struck our World. For many, this is the first time we have ever experienced a pandemic in our lifetimes. With that being said, there are so many unknowns at the moment. I decided to take the approach about the unknowns of academics, especially since there is little to no recorded research on this topic thus far. After speaking with educators from all over America, reading the limited articles available, and taking my own opinion as a future educator into account, this group of young students, with malleable minds, will most likely be observed for the rest of their educational careers. There is also something that can be learned from the way educators have had to shift the way they teach. Although, education has been changing and evolving over time, after the Covid-19 pandemic it is safe to say that it will never be the same again. Through qualitative interviewing, individuals will get an inside look at the many different approaches to teaching during a pandemic, the precautions being taken, the new tools and learning strategies being used, and overall try to understand the long- and short- term effects and toll this has taken on teachers, students, and schools.
