Abstract

The purpose of this business paper is to compare and contrast the innovative and influential marketing strategies for Christianity and their effects on church membership. Through in-depth research of the existing literature and interviews with those in the field of Christianity, this paper will answer why Christianity is either successful or unsuccessful in their marketing strategy to add more members to their churches. This is important because finding a solution to this question will create new opportunities to “sell” and spread Christianity. Additionally, the business community would greatly benefit as the more members who join the church, the more cash flow there will be in the community due to the various church programs. Results indicate that incorporating influential marketing is critical in the marketing strategy as people will follow the opinions and ideologies of a person rather than be loyal to a brand. Innovative marketing is equally as crucial to create new and original ideas for a product either by design, promotions, placement, or pricing.
